Several months ago, I purchased this gorgeous kit from Pincushion Pantiles - the kit includes some lovely prints, along with vintage fabrics from Kim Porter, Washed and Worn. I'd made a baby quilt using the We Are Family pattern, by the Australian Designer Susan Smith for my little grandson Rory, and his mum and dad had requested the same pattern in different colours for his baby brother. ...once all the blocks were finished, they were joined together, and had a final press. The fabric for the borders was purchased online from Pound Fabrics - it's a lovely soft double gauze with tiny stars printed on, that I will also use for the backing and binding. This quilt top just needs to be layered with the backing fabric and wadding, and it will be ready for hand quilting.
