Once all the pieced blocks were made - flying geese, stars, strip sets, log cabins, appliqued hexagons, four-patches and fussy cut squares, I stitched a few of the rows together. This is as far as I can get for now, as the remaining 12 stitchery blocks will be delivered 2 blocks per month, and once they arrive I can get them embroidered and get another row stitched up! This BOM is called United Stitches, and is by Rosalie Dekker Designs. She also designed this fabric collection too, called Chirpy Lola - and the stitchery blocks have been arriving in the post, 2 blocks per month, since January, from Under The Mulberry Tree in Australia. I've also ordered the border and binding fabrics from there too, so once the main part of the quilt top is completed, I'll be able to get the borders on, then it will be sent off to my local long arm quilter ready for her to add her special magic on it!
