For several years, I have subscribed to a Norwegian quilting magazine "MyQuilt" and I've made a few of the projects that have been featured. This has been tricky at times, as the patterns are written in Norwegian, so I just use the diagrams although if I get really stuck Google translate is my best friend! This particular design, "Ta med kopp" (bring a cup) is designed by Kari Renolen and is a small quilted bag for keeping your mug in, such as when you go to sewing classes. I've used some fabrics from the Tealicious collection by Anni Downes from Hatched and Patched. This bag is quilted very simply and has 4 small pockets inside for teabags. And no, I didn't need Google translate for this one!
Hi - welcome to my quilting blog! My passions are my family, my dog, my friends and sewing, not necessarily in that order!
