![]() What a wonderful Sunday I've had - spending time with some great friends and a bit of sewing too - what could be better?! Firstly I've been to the Pond Gallery at Snape Maltings - it was the annual exhibition for the Textiles Art Group Suffolk and very inspiring it was too. Then we (some quilting friends and me) headed off to see Janet and Louise of Glenroy Designs - (they run an online quilt store) and I was nearly giddy when Janet showed us her fabric room!! Luckily I was able to do a little bit of retail shopping there, and bought a couple of these batiks - Tonga Treats by Timeless Treasures in Mango Salsa - I think a Schnibbles quilt is going to be my next project with these gorgeous batiks!..... ![]() .....then it was down to some serious stitching and chatting and drinking tea and eating cake and a bit more chatting - what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon?? This is just a sneak peek of another stitchery project - all will be revealed later in the month!
