![]() YAY!!! It's finished - 35 of these gorgeous little stitchery blocks - and I absolutely love it! Now it's going to be delivered to Janette to work her magic with it and see what she can suggest with quilting designs and thread colours. This was made with leftovers of other projects, all the fabrics are a medley of collections by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda, and the pattern for this quilt is called "Ruth's Quilt", by Leanne Beasley, and is featured in her book "Living the Dream". I haven't decided yet whether to use a scrappy binding from my leftovers or whether to use just one fabric - what do you think? Oh but I do know that I am DEFINITELY going to make one of these quilts again - mmmm - maybe in chocolate and turquoise colours? Or maybe black and white? Now let me look in my scrap box and see what I can come up with!!
