Ages ago I'd picked out these fabrics from "My Hearts At Home" collection by Lynette Anderson Designs, and some threads (King Tut cream shade 972 and a variegated Valdani 50wt thread "Blue Clouds" shade M68) and a couple of zippers and put them away safely in a ziplock bag. They'd been packed away for over a year, and while I've been organising fabrics and kits in my new sewing studio I've found all sorts of projects that I'd forgotten about!... ...the wadding that I used for this was "In-R-Form" that I bought from Empress Mills. It is great for bags as it adds a bit of "body" to the finished project, but a thinner felted wadding would also work well. This has been quilted very simply - I always use the edge of the walking foot to keep the rows straight and an equal distance apart. The feature fabric looks perfect for the front pocket, and I used a larger piece of the same fabric for the back of the bag... ...and here is the completed toiletry bag. The pattern is "Unisex" from the Norwegian quilting magazine MyQuilt, issue 04/2015. (I have a subscription to this magazine with Lapp-Elisa). This was made by following the diagrams in the magazine rather than reading the instructions (I can recognise a few Norwegian words, but the diagrams were really clear) and although it was a bit tricky, I'm really pleased with how it looks! These gorgeous fabrics really were perfect for this project... ...this bag is so pretty - I've got some of the pink colourway too, so may have to make another one as a gift! The front pocket really is so useful, and the lace zipper really finishes it off. These bags could be embellished with all sorts of lace trimmings, and as the name of the pattern suggests, they could be used for a man or a woman, or a child, depending on the fabrics and trimmings used. I'd finished this late on Tuesday evening, just before my admission to hospital, so was perfect to take with me, but due to my extended stay, I didn't get a chance to photograph it until this morning!

Sorry Toussaint, I cannot send you this pattern due to copyright law. This is something you may not be aware of. You could try to see if the magazine is still available, however it is from 2015.

Hi Martine - sorry I am unable to send you this pattern - you may not be aware of copyright law. You could try contacting MyQuilt magazine directly in Norway to get to see if there is an issue available, or you could try the Swedish quilt shop Lapp-Elisa where I have a subscription for the magazine.
