Over the past few years, I've made several tablerunners using this design. The pattern is called Kle kjokkenet i 60-tallsdrakt by the Norwegian designer AnnAKa and it was published in the Norwegian quilting magazine, Quiltemagasinet, issue 04/2007. This one has been made using a selection of brown and cream fabrics, mostly batiks, that were left over from other projects. Once it was quilted (very simply in straight rows) Prairie Points are added to each end and a couple of buttons were stitched in place. I've made several more blocks to make a larger one for my dining table, but need to go through my boxes of fabric to see if I've got anything suitable for the backing, as I'm determined to use up the bulk of my supplies before I buy anything else!
Hi - welcome to my quilting blog! My passions are my family, my dog, my friends and sewing, not necessarily in that order!
