I bought this pattern absolutely ages ago. Looking through my previous posts, I realised it was back in 2017 from Lynatte's stand at the Festival of Quilts! The fabrics were from Cross Patch, in Wales, and both the pattern and the fabrics had been packed away safely in my "Lynette Anderson" box - and yes, in case you were wondering, my LA box is a very BIG box haha! Anyway, a few weeks ago I decided to make it ready for Christmas, but life got in the way, so it's going to be one of my projects to get finished by the end of January. As you can see, over the past couple of weeks most of the applique and hand embroidery has been done. I need to stitch the centre into place, then I can add this jolly Santa and sleigh, and applique all though holly leaves into place! I haven't bought any fabric for the backing yet, so that may require a quick trip to Sew and So's at Bungay on my day off, then I can deliberate whether to machine or hand quilt it.
