*Updated in thee afternoon to show you this picture of Miss Erin...she loved her basket!!
Do you remember last week I made a fabric basket for all my sewing bits and bobs? Well I really needed to make another one, for a very special little girl. I couldn't resist this cute fabric covered with little owls, and teamed it with a pink and white spotted fabric and a touch of turquoise for the binding and lining. I made a few changes to the original Noodlehead pattern - I omitted the divider, and altered the way that I attached the lining too. I used a Mettler white quilting thread for all the top stitching, as it keeps it looking bright and fresh...... .....what do you think? This is for Erin (my great-niece) to keep some of her bits and bobs and books in - and it is soft enough for her to carry around, because she's only little. Hopefully Erin and her mummy will like this basket as much as I do - it's going to be very tricky to give this one away!!
