Enjoying a Cuppa
Sunday morning was spent being busy, busy, busy in the kitchen and getting my chores done. Mr F and Alice were both at work yesterday, so the afternoon was spent sitting in my conservatory with some hand sewing and enjoying a nice cup of tea. I've made a start with "One Stitch at a Time" which is a kit that I'd bought online from Little Quilt Store in Australia (pattern designed by Lynette Anderson). I'm using the variegated Valdani threads that Lynette recommends, they have a very soft variation in colour. They do tend to be a bit friable, especially the darker colours, so I always use Thread Heaven when I'm sewing with these threads, to condition them.
