There hasn't been much sewing going on at Foreman Towers recently, as we've had some Very Special Guests staying with us, all the way from New Zealand. We've been taking them out and showing them the wonderful delights of Suffolk, and exploring parts of the countryside that we haven't been to for simply ages! Today we've been over in the west of the country, visiting a wonderfully picturesque town of Lavenham, which is filled with medieval houses and is steeped in history... ...we called into the Lavenham Blue Vintage Tearooms while we were there, and had the most delicious crumpets, and toasted tea loaf, with lashings of tea... ...this was followed by a trip to Long Melford, where we enjoyed a stroll along the high street in the sunshine. Then it was time to head home, stopping off at Kersey for another photoshoot. There are so many wonderful places off explore in Suffolk, we don't always appreciate what is right on our doorstep!
