Oh dear it's a bit bit chilly here at Foreman Towers as our boiler is well and truly knackered (well it is over 30yrs old) and we've had no heating or hot water for 20 days now and counting. It's so blooming cold in the mornings, I can see my breathe! We've had it looked at by a very good boiler-man and hopefully it's finally getting it sorted on Monday but unfortunately because it's so old (despite regularly servicing) lots of other "stuff" also needs to be replaced as pipes and valves etc won't connect to this ancient boiler as nowadays everything is different sizes - typical! It'll be a 2-day-2-man job and Mr F will be on tea duty keeping the workmen happy while I'm at work. Thank goodness it's warm at the hospital! I'm really looking forward to a long hot soak in the bath with lots of bubbles on Tuesday - fingers crossed!!!!
