I called into Kis Quilting Ltd yesterday, and was lucky enough to see this GORGEOUS "Rosewood" quilt, stitched by one of their customers Jo Thompson. Here's Jo holding her quilt, along with Lyn, one of the lovely KIS ladies. It was a real treat to see it close up, it had been pieced together beautifully, and Jo had quilted it herself too... ...there are a few kits still available from KIS to make this quilt, and it's got 20% off in the sale! It has been designed by Carrie Nelson for Moda, using the Rosewood collection of fabrics by 3 Sisters, and I love Carrie's designs, and have several of her books (she also designed the fabulous "Schnibbles" patterns and books too). The quilt is 76" square, so will easily cover a double sized bed. And no, I didn't buy it but it was extremely difficult to resist - I'm not sure how long my willpower will last!
