I really love the quirkiness of Amanda Davie's jewelry, and when I saw this unique necklace for sale I knew it was just what I was looking for. This mixed media piece features a large aged brass bat pendant, accented with black and white crackle beads, vintage sparkle, and buttons. I can't wait for the postman to hurry up with this parcel!

Look what I found when I was shopping online - these beautiful "Awakening" earrings with an organic and spiritual nature. Amanda Davie has used some unusual face beads and paired them with beads made from seed, and some Peruvian Ceramic hands. I always ask Amanda to add lever backs to the earrings that I order from her as I find them much more comfortable to wear. Can't wait for these to arrive! Santa I've been very good this year, and as I've been really busy making lots of Christmas gifts and wrapping them and sending off all the Christmas cards, I really do deserve a little treat for me. Amanda Davie designs the most beautiful jewellery, and these Mantra Earrings feature her signature word charms, and wonderful bead and charm accents - wood, tiny turquoise hearts, and lovely little bird dangles. Hope they arrive in time to slip them in my Christmas stocking hehe!! Well just look - I've started my Christmas shopping at the Amanda Davie Etsy shop!! "Between Dusk and Dawn" is the name for these ear-rings with sweet owl charms accented with lovely lemon yellow Czech glass accents. These are for a special girl who just loves owls - shhhhh - don't tell her! - it's going in her Christmas stocking! Another pair of earrings from Amanda Davie is on a journey over to the UK. Sweet fish pendants are complimented by a little bit of moonstone, and some gorgeous Peruvian Blue Opal for these beach inspired earrings. This is an extra special little present to me! Although they are called "Florida", they remind me very much of my recent holiday to Cyprus. The blue stones are the colour of the sea, and these cute little fishes are just like the ones that nibbled my tootsies..... .....while I was on my holipops last week with Mr F, I had a very ticklish fishy pedicure. Here you can see my trotters getting pampered - I had a fishy pedicure as a special present for my birthday last year, and I couldn't resist having another one! Yep - I've been Etsy shopping again, for some goodies by my favourite jewellery designer - Amanda Davie. These "Nectar" bee earrings are truely gorgeous. I just love these busy bees, with a sweet little accent charms. Each earring is created from professionally printed images, brass findings, and crystal clear glass. Amanda very kindly added a lever back for me, as I'm always worried I might lose these precious earrings if they're not secured in place!.... .....and then I saw this really unusual necklace, "Fragments", also made by Amanda. The necklace itself is made from eco friendly hemp. She has accented the hemp with a few antique trade beads. This piece measures a generous 40", but can be tied to a shorter length. Each of the charms can easily be removed, and the necklace used for any other charms you might have. My Amanda Davie jewellery collection is growing fast - I think I'll have to request a new jewellery box for my birthday!
Well just look what I saw in Amanda Davie's Etsy shop - this super collection of quilting charms, that are just perfect for a quilter! And yes you've guessed it, I just couldn't resist them!! These fun pieces are the perfect size for charm bracelets, necklaces, or even used as a zipper pull. Amanda has added brass findings and a lobster claw clasp to each piece, making it easy to add onto an existing piece of jewellery. I bet all my quilting friends will love these!! Look what I saw on Amanda's fab Etsy shop - this sweet "British Invasion" kilt pin, with beautiful images, and sweet accent charms. These 3 inch pins are great for keeping your sweater or shrug closed, dressing up a jacket, or pinned onto your favorite hat. Each pin comes with a charming image captured under a crystal clear cabochon, fun accents, and a bonus charm that can be clipped on or off. This will look stunning pinned to my winter coat or scarf - can't wait for it to arrive! Amanda Davie really does make the most divine jewellery - just look at my latest purchase! This versatile wrap bracelet, "The Journey", measures nearly 36" long and can be worn a number of ways, and this asymmetrical piece will look good from any angle - doubled up, wrapped around a wrist, or even an ankle. Lots of interesting details are included, with beautiful gemstones, and double clasps so this piece can fit any wrist size..... .....worn as a necklace it provides a number of different looks by simply sliding the necklace to a different position. This piece includes sari silk, a stamped tag that reads "the journey awakens the soul", quartz crystal, handmade charms and connectors, freshwater pearls, lovely sea-glass coloured agate. How could I resist this piece? Just a little bit of retail therapy - Amanda Davie has tempted me yet again - and I absolutely adore this "Escutcheon" bracelet. There's nothing like a piece of jewellery to make a girl feel really special! And the highlight of this bracelet is the beautiful antiqued copper coloured escutcheon, and there is plenty of room on this bracelet to add my favorite charms. I'm getting quite a collection of Amanda Davie jewellery now - now, I wonder if she designs jewellery boxes too??!! |
