"One Love" is the name of this beautiful necklace designed by Amanda Davie. Beautiful berry colored trade beads combine with a wonderful wooden heart bead, and a lovely handmade Quartz Crystal pendant for this one of a kind necklace. The beads are connected "rosary" style for a beautiful feel. The quartz pendant was made from re-purposing a spent bullet casing, soldering a jump ring on the end, and setting a beautiful quartz crystal in the end. The unique design of this piece allows for wearing this necklace long or doubled up for a two strand shorter necklace! And that's not all - the same beautiful berry colored trade beads have been wire wrapped around these lovely kidney wire earrings. Amanda has paired them with fun little leaf charms and a bit of Czech glass for the finishing touch. These "Gratitude" ear-rings will look gorgeous worn alone or with the necklace - can't wait for these to arrive!

My favourite jewellery designer, is Amanda Davie, and she was recently inspired to create a series of "healing hearts" jewelry. This one is a beautiful long layering necklace that could be doubled up, and worn twice around your neck, but Amanda has added a few more beads so it could also be used as a wrap style bracelet. These versatile pieces feature a beautiful collection of glass, trade, brass, gemstone and wood beads and measure about 39". Each heart is formed by hand with lots of love and character. Amanda has hand embellished each piece and add an aged crackle finish. The necklace also features one of her tiny dictionary word charms with the word "heal" encased in glass and brass. Each heart can be removed so the necklace can be worn as a bracelet, and each necklace is marked with her signature tag. I am sure my heart will be healed when I wear this.
A beautiful copper (patina) labyrinth pendant was the inspiration for this unique necklace by Amanda Davie. She has combined both rustic and elegant elements to create a neck piece that appeals to both the senses and the tactile qualities that will be appreciated in a favorite necklace. Amanda has used vintage glass, a few varieties and sizes of Jasper, copper elements with a beautiful patina, glass, glass pearls, chain, and a beautiful embellished heart. The necklace closes at the front with a swivel clasp. One of a kind. This 31" necklace bears her signature tag. Perfect to wear on my hols next week - I'm off on a quilting trip to Yorkshire with some friends. Good food. And good wine. And good company. Oh and maybe a little bit of quilting too ;)
You know that feeling when you see something and you want it so badly you think you can't live without it?? Well I've been ohhhing and ahhhing at these on the Amanda Davie Etsy shop. These were just so gorgeous and I just HAD to have them!! Beautiful Red Coral has been wire wrapped around these lovely kidney wire earrings. Amanda has paired them with a pair of lovely heart charms for the finishing touch. I know, ANOTHER pair of earrings - but they were cheaper than a pair of new shoes hehe!! Yes - Etsy shopping again hehe!! These lovely earrings feature tiny, delicate Peridot gemstones that have been carefully wire wrapped around brass kidney wires. Amanda has added some beautiful little heart charms with a Peridot accent for the dangle. These are sweet, light and feminine. Oh and did you know - Peridot is known as a stone that protects against negative energy. It is a stone associated with lightness and beauty and is often worn as a protection stone. Can't wait for these to arrive! I know just the girl who will LOVE these cute little owl charms that dangle with crystal accents. These earrings are petite and feminine and perfect for someone very special who just loves owls!! These are for my daughter Alice, and I'm sure she'll love them! I bought her another pair of Amanda Davie "owl" earrings for Christmas, and a couple of years ago I made her an owl tote bag too. I couldn't sleep last night, and was up and about in the early hours, and look at what I found on Amanda Davie's etsy shop - these beautiful Relic earrings - the beautiful gold-leafed trade beads are the focal for these stunning earrings. Finished off with kidney wires to dangle from my lobes - just the thing to have sweet dreams about when I finally went back to bed!! Ohhhh - just look what I've treated myself to!! After a couple of dire weeks at Foreman Towers - firstly the boiler needed some tender loving care, then we had to call out the plumber to fix a leak in the kitchen, so I really was in need of a little pick-me-up, and this was just the thing to do that! These shards of Ancient Roman Glass are pieces from ancient vases and glassware- they were uncovered in the Middle East and date back 1000 - 2000 years. Beautiful bits of wearable history! Can't wait for them to arrive in the post from Amanda! Next week is Valentine's Day, and what better way to celebrate than to treat myself something from my favourite online mixed media and art jewellery store - Amanda Davie. Just look at this fun, Shabby Chic Kilt Pin with a little SPARKLE! Amanda has added hand dyed cotton, glass pearls, fun little skeleton key charms, and one of her own heart pendants to this unique pin. This piece measures 2.5" long. It will look perfect pinned to a jacket or jumper - and I can't wait to wear it!
I've just spent the last few days in bed with a very nasty cold, and decided I really needed something nice and pretty to perk me up, to make me feel better. So I thought a little bit of online shopping was in order, and saw just the thing to make me feel better! A gorgeous piece of Amanda Davie jewellery! This Dreamer bracelet is just perfect - a wonderful antique bronze finish dragonfly is the focal for this unique bracelet. Amanda has paired the beautiful centre piece with hand embellished brass charms, crystal, amethyst, and fluorite gem stones. She has also included one of her box clasps with a lovely dragonfly motif. Now I'm REALLY starting to feel a bit better, and I can't wait for it arrive!
