I bought this bundle of "Sanctuary" by 3 Sisters for Moda absolutely years ago when I first started quilting. It's perfect for this project "Anna's Blomster" by the Norwegian designer AnnAKa. The stitchery design was carefully traced with the help of my light box and a Micron Pigma pen. I pieced 4 squares of "Sanctuary" fabric together for the stitchery background - they're different colours but they all have the same pattern on them. Weaveline interfacing was fused to the back and I used a DMC embroidery thread for the embroidery... ...and here is a picture of the completed project. It was filled with a plump feather pad. This is an Easter gift for my mother-in-law. I hope she likes it!
